Le 8 octobre prochain sortira le nouvel album de ROBERT WYATT, son premier pour Domino. Intitulé Comicopera, il contient 16 nouveaux titres et sera disponible en CD et en double vinyle gatefold.
Comicopera est divisé en 3 parties: 'Lost in Noise', 'The Here and The Now' et 'Away with the Fairies'. C'est un album plus riche avec un son résolument plus chaud que son prédécesseur, Cuckooland.
Entouré d'invités aussi prestigieux que BRIAN ENO, PAUL WELLER et PHIL MANZANERA, ROBERT WYATT est au sommet de son art et insuffle une touche de poésie dans une rentrée rock plutôt sombre.
ROBERT WYATT est une voix unique dans le monde rock anglais. Depuis plus de 30 ans, elle est synonyme d'excentricité et d'originalité, oscillant de la pop au jazz le tout teinté de psychédélisme, des débuts avec SOFT MACHINE à la carrière solo en passant par MATCHING MOLE , THE WILDE FLOWERS et de nombreuses collaborations (ULTRAMARINE, EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL, SCRITTI POLITTI).
